Locations of area Emergency Rooms and Acute Care Clinics
When time is of the essence, it is important to know where to go to find emergency care. If you have a medical emergency--life threatening injuries and illnesses...something that endangers life, limb or vision--please dial 911 immediately. Or, visit the closest emergency room. Because many of our beneficiaries live outside of the Fort Knox and Elizabethtown area, please visit the map below to find the location of many local ERs, with general directions and their web links, which may be closer to you.
An Acute Care, or Immediate Care Clinic, is for minor illnesses such as colds, the flu, ear infections, sore throats, fevers, rashes, minor cuts and burns and sprains. The IRAHC ACC is open M-F 8 a.m. to 8 p.m, and Sat-Sun 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed federal holidays. But if you don't live on/near Fort Knox and need an ACC, this map contains the location, with general directions and web links, for many ACCs that may be closer to you. Just place your mouse over each location for the name and general info. Click on it to visit the website.
