PREGNANCY POSTPARTUM PHYSICAL TRAINING (PPPT)

Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training (PPPT)
This program is for Soldiers only.

The purpose of the PPPT Program is to assist pregnant Soldiers in maintaining health and fitness throughout their pregnancy, successfully integrate postpartum Soldiers back into unit fitness training programs, and enhance the Soldier’s ability to meet the physical requirements for readiness after pregnancy.  Consistent participation in the Army PPPT Program provides a physical fitness training and education program that meets the unique needs of pregnant and postpartum Soldiers.

The PPPT Program is designed to promote:

  • Reduction of physical discomforts and stress during pregnancy.

  • Higher achievement of the Army Physical Fitness Test and AR 600-9 height/weight standards.

  • Easier transition back to unit physical training.

The PPPT forms found on this website are also contained in the folder you received (or will receive) from OB/GYN Department.
