We are here for you and your family from the very beginning. IACH has set the standard for comprehensive pregnancy care with an array of services designed to support you before, during and after the birth of your baby.

Sensitive, personalized care is given to all patients and their families at the IACH Family Birthplace. With nearly 100,000 babies born to military families each year, you can be sure that you'll receive the best care by some of the most highly trained and qualified healthcare providers and nursing staff in the world. Military families have unique circumstances and we are the best prepared facility to accommodate you.

Our nurses will stay by your side throughout your labor, delivery, and recovery if family members are not able to share this moment with you.

You and your baby will receive the most advanced healthcare available amidst a homelike environment with all new private rooms, soft lighting, attractive decor and spa showers. Our family-centered approach to maternity care creates a relaxing and positive environment that enhances the early bonding experience for the entire family.

We offer five newly renovated Labor and Delivery Suites that are designed to allow easy access to state-of-the-art medical and diagnostic equipment, yet have all the comforts of home. The suites are equipped with everything you will need from initial labor to recovery to include:

• Dynamic birthing beds
• Central Fetal Monitoring System
• Infant Warmers
• Telephone
• Cable Television
• Recliner and Rocking Chair
• Sleeping area for your Spouse/Coach

The Family Birthplace also provides two C-Section Suites equipped with the latest technology and equipment for Cesarean deliveries.

After the recovery phase, families are able to bond in our cozy post partum rooms where they can relax and spend time with family and friends. These rooms have wood furniture including beds, bassinets, phone, cable television, and baths.

Other features include Spa Showers
and a 24 hour Nutrition Center.

Nursing Care
 

Our nursing staff rotates on 12 hour shifts to allow patients to spend more time with the same staff during the delivery process. This is another way that our professionally trained staff is committed to providing you and your family with the best possible care.

Pain is considered one of the most unpleasant aspects of giving birth. We offer several pain management options including breathing and relaxation, pain medications, and epidurals. We believe the patient knows best when it comes to managing their pain and we fully rely on their feedback.

We believe that families should decide who they want to be present throughout the delivery of their baby and that it should not be limited to only one person. Our facility encourages the involvement of dads and siblings in the birth process. The choice is yours.

If for any reason, your baby must remain
in the hospital longer than 48 hours,

you will never be asked to leave

the hospital without your baby.

You may remain in your room, with your
baby, until he or she is able to go home.

Security

We protect our newborns with a state-of-the-art monitoring and physical
security system. While your baby is at our facility, you can rest assured that the baby is safe at all times.
