Locations of area Emergency Rooms and Acute Care Clinics
When time is of the essence, it is important to know where to go to find emergency or immediate/acute care. If you have a medical emergency--life threatening injuries and illnesses...something that endangers life, limb or vision--please dial 911 immediately. Or, visit the closest emergency room.
An Acute Care, or Immediate Care Clinic, is for minor illnesses. The IRAHC ACC is open M-F 8 a.m. to 8 p.m, Sat-Sun., 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed federal holidays. But if you don't live on/near the Fort Knox and Elizabethtown area and need an ACC or ER, click HERE to view an interactive map. It contains the location, with general directions and web link, for many ER/ACCs that may be closer to you.
